The Deccan Geographical Society, Pune, India has awarded this years “Bhoogol Shikshak Samman-2015” to Prof. K. N. Singh of Geography Department, D.D.U. Gorakhpur University. It was awarded on 17th Oct 2015 during 10th International Geography Conference at Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur.
This Award was awarded by DGSI secretary VC Vaisya & Vice Chancellor I.B. Trivedi, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur.
The Deccan Geographical Society, India has constituted “Geography Teacher Award” from 2010. This award consists of certificate of excellence and momento. The DGSI Society tries, seeks and commits to promote geography related activity. And therefore DGSI society nominates a person for Geography Teacher Award every year. This award is distributed at the time of inauguration of DGSI conference.
